Royal Ascot
From the bustle of smaller tracks such as Hamilton and Brighton to the pomp and glamour of Royal Ascot, British Flat racing has it all.
The number of Group 1 races that take place in Britain exceeds all of its European counterparts, and many of these races attract international participants looking to earn the prestige that is gained by winning at the highest level on British soil.
Royal Ascot is undoubtedly racing at its most glamorous, and the ongoing recruitment of the world’s best horses has added an extra dimension of excitement to what is already a spine-tingling, adrenaline-filled five days of top racing.
Racegoers can revel in quality racing at festivals throughout the year, from Newmarket, Chester, and York in the spring, to Newmarket’s July course and Goodwood in high summer, through to Doncaster and Ayr, and the dramatic climax to the season back at Newmarket in the autumn.
