Doncaster Bloodstock Sales
DBS was founded in 1962 and is located 30 miles south of York. Every September, DBS holds the St Leger Yearling Sales which is one of the oldest bloodstock sales in Britain.
The auction house was the pioneer of breeze-up sales, staging their first sale of this kind in 1977. Equally as successful with their National Hunt stock, record prices are common and numerous winners of the Grand National and Cheltenham Gold Cup have passed through the DBS sales ring.

The Doncaster sales complex is situated next to Doncaster Racecourse, which is permanently signposted on all major motorway routes from the South, North, East and West. Doncaster Train Station is on the East Coast Line and is less than a mile away from the Sales Complex. The East Coast Line offers fast services from London through to Edinburgh, with London Kings Cross just an hour and a half away, putting the South-East within easy commuting distance.
